Alaglas’ swimming pool closed after fatal accident

The Alagla swimming pool in New Jersey has closed its doors after a fatal accident, local officials said Monday.

Authorities said a 27-year-old man was swimming in the pool on Saturday when he fell into a pool of warm water.

He drowned.

The Alaglas Water and Life Park in New Brunswick is the first recreational pool in the U.S. that closed for the summer.

It is not clear how many people were in the swimming pool at the time.

Alaglas is a town of roughly 10,000 people in the New Jersey towns of Hoboken and Fairfield.
